Jantastic fantastic, Great wall training week 2, birthday treats.

DIARY

Things are going really well with the Glenrothes Tri’ers Jantastic team at one stage first team overall of course it changes almost minute by minute as more workouts are logged but it has been a great motivational tool roll on Feb and March and see what they bring in the challenge. I am now the team captain of the Glenrothes triathlon Club and took them for two runs this week. The monday run was a nice easy run with some fartlek the second run was a cooper test which had a very good turnout and one guest running.

Jan 22nd 1958 a momentous day-My Birthday! Carol and I had a bar lunch with Janette my sister and her husband although the pub was cold the food was really good. The celebrations continued for Carol and I with a meal out on Friday evening after a visit to her mother. We got the train to Haymarket Saturday morning and hopped off for lunch at the Khukuri, a Nepalese restaurant near Murrayfield. We got back on the train to Waverley and walked down to our hotel, after booking in we headed to the filmhouse for The Hawking movie. As soon as that was finished we were heading back to the hotel again for a quick change and out to Electric circus for a gig (both reviewed on my reviews page). Sunday morning we spent wandering around the Carlton area of Edinburgh and headed back to Kirkcaldy mid afternoon. The weekend had gone well and Carol was feeling quite good having got a rest from thinking about her mother.
